About John Topman
John passed away on 3rd January 2021. He loved that visitors enjoyed looking at his photos. So his photos will stay here for more visitors to enjoy as a kind of legacy/memorial to him. I will also add to them as I go through his hard drives. Heidi I have been taking photographs for more than 35 years. I graduated from a Kodak instamatic, via a Topcon to Canon, Olympus and back to Canon SLRs and DSLRs. I enjoy photographing everything from weddings and churches to historical recreation and nature subjects. I have undertaken photographic commissions for three different tourist boards and supplied photos to Kentwell Hall in Suffolk, St Mary's University in Twickenham, London and Highdown Gardens in Worthing, West Sussex. Interesting perspective. This looks like a beautiful place.
John Topman replied:
Thank you for your comment. I always try to capture a different perspective from the one that most people would expect (see my Caxton Gibbet photo for another example of that). Hutton Le Hole really is a beautiful place
